Cozy Countdown: Family New Year’s Eve

New Year’s Eve is 11 days away!!!

Are you looking for some fun new years eve ideas to do while spending the night with your kids? No worries this year we decided that we want to be lazy and enjoy the time as a family. Here are some great ideas that I found.

First we need to set the mood and make it feel like a party! Amazon has some party kits that help us busy moms make that possible! Here are some fun ideas to check out!

New Year’s Eve countdown fun

One way that you can countdown to the new year is by having a balloon countdown. Pop a balloon each hour up to midnight night. For extra fun you can write an activity you’re going to do on a piece of paper and roll it up and throw it in the balloon. 

Some fun ideas you can add to you balloons:

• Make Lego balloon cars
• Make toilet paper tube paper confetti poppers 
• Share favorite memories of the year
• Play some fun minute to win it games 

Fun New Year’s Eve Mocktails-

I try to make fun drinks for the kids. This year we are doing Ring Pop mocktails. Which are ring pops in a champagne glass with some sprite. Let sit for 10-20 minutes and then you can pull the ring pop out and eat it!  Super simple and cute!

You can’t have a party without food

When it comes to a fun night, our favorite dinner for the occasion is finger foods! I love it because it’s a night at dinner with no fighting and my picky eaters will eat! It’s a mom win in my book!
