This is a great idea that most people don’t think about. You can look for an outdoor rink to skate at under the stars. This will be a date that you won’t forget. Just remember to plan a little ahead and dress warmly. But remember to have the best time.

Local to Colorado Springs check out Acacia Park for some outdoor ice skating this winter.

Game Night At A Local Arcade:

This is one that is a perfect date for the competitive couple. Enjoy some playing on some of childhood favorite games and see who can get the better score. Another way to make this a perfect date night is add in some pizza.

Some fun arcades to check out in Colorado Springs are the The Control Room and Rail Yard. We love Rail Yard so much fun.

Have An Indoor Picnic:

Go ahead a light a fire and spread out a blanket to enjoy a fun indoor picnic date. You can either pick up some favorite foods at the store or stop by your favorite restaurant for some take out. I love this date night on a snowy night. Adding a card game into the mix makes this one a fun date night when the kids finally go to bed.

DIY Paint and Wine Night:

Nothing goes better than painting and wine. This can be a fun planned date night. Take a trip to your local store and pick up some paints and canvas. Sometimes the local Sip and Paintings places can get pricey. This is a great way to still create memories on a friendly budget.

This is a fun one that many people forget about. When thinking of date ideas this is one that I forget a lot. This is another date night to check Groupon for some great deals to make it budget friendly.

Go To An Escape Room:

Escape rooms have been a big hit lately. This would be a great date to invite some friends to. More the better to help solve the puzzles.

This is a perfect date to learn something new together. I would love to take an Italian cooking class. This is another date that you might want to look on groupon for a deal to keep it budget friendly.

Trivia Night At A Local Bar:

This is such a fun date to let out the competitive side. Also makes a fun double date to invite friends with. There are so many great themes that are out there. 90’s movie night is a favorite of ours. 

Brunch At Home:

Enjoy a great morning by making all your favorite breakfast foods at home. Don’t forget to add yummy mimosa’s to the menu.  We love breakfast food so this is one that we do on weekends when we don’t have hockey on the schedule. It might not happen a lot but when we do it’s the first thing we plan for the weekend. 

Take A Dance Class:

This could be a fun date. Learning how to salsa dance or even ballroom dance are fun ideas.  Most dance studios offer a free first class which even makes this idea budget friendly. If not give groupon a look they usually have some deals on there.
