Waffle Bar Wonderland: Easy Dinner Idea

Easy waffle bar fun for the family!

Happy national waffle day! You are going to love this dinner idea! Who said that waffles are only for breakfast? My family loves breakfast for dinners! Which I love because they are so easy to put together. This waffle bar has quickly become a favorite in our home.  We did one for my son’s 1st bday party and ever since they have been asking for another. So now I make our waffle nights more into a buffet style and they come in to make their own plates.  I added this cool dinner idea to our monthly meal plan so you can share the fun with your family as well.

Picky Kid Approved Dinner:

I love that even my picky eaters love this dinner! They get to make their own plates so I know they will eat what they put on their plate. Which in my book is a mom win with a peaceful dinner!

How to make your waffle bar:

The options are endless and totally up to you how you want to do this. Don’t let this make you feel like you have to make this all fancy you don’t. Want to know my secret? Most waffle bar nights I use frozen waffles and throw them in the toaster for a quick easy dinner without a lot of dishes. There are some nights we have some time and I make my own fluffy waffles. Looking for a waffle maker this is the one I have and love.

Want to make it feel special add some fun serving bowls to it or even add a fun color table cloth down. All things you can find at your local Dollar Tree.

Some of our favorite toppings:

  • Cut up fruit (strawberries, bananas and  blueberries are our favorites)
  • Chocolate Chips
  • Lucky Charms Marshmallows or even regular marshmellows
  • Whip Cream
  • Syrup

Want to make it a more filling meal you can add some bacon or sausage to your waffle bar. Along with some scrambled eggs.

What is a topping that you love with your waffles? Share them in the comments. I’m always looking for something new to add to our waffles.
