How to use your premade activities:

With the pdf file with the six cards you will want to start by cutting those out. That’s six days of activities for you elf.

  1. For the reindeer joke you can tape a red craft pom-pom to your elf nose for this one and just place wherever.
  2. For the egg joke you will crack open an egg onto a plate and leave the shells on the plate as well. Place your elf next to the plate with the paper right there too.
  3. It’s raining tacos- This one is a new one for me this year and I’m thinking of taping hard taco shells to fishing wire and hanging it from the kitchen light over our table.
  4. Butter joke- This one is as simple as throwing butter on a plate. Place your elf next to it with the paper. Bam super easy!
  5. Shh watching “u tube”- For this one you will need a toilet paper roll. Write the letter “U” on the roll. Place it in front of your elf like he is watching tv.
  6. Don’t feed the bears- This one was a hit last year. I had the elf sitting in the kitchen cabinet throwing marshmallows down to gummy bears.

Pin the nose on the reindeer-

Is a perfect one to do and put it in a place that the kids could join in on the fun in the morning after they find their elf. You can use dot stickers or craft pom poms.

Phases of the moon

This is a new idea for us this year. I plan on cutting out the full moon and placing his butt right there. We set this up to line up with the full moon in December.

Poop Museum-

This was a hit the year I started the poop museum. This is one that’s coming back this holiday season for sure for my three year old to see. All you have to do is use this sheet, add candy to the spots and enjoy the giggles when the kids find it in the morning.  Here are some candy ideas:

Yeti: white chocolate balls, marshmallows, white mints, white gumballs

Unicorn: M&M, Skittles, airhead xtremes

Santa: red/green sprinkles, red/green m&ms

Snowman: snowflake sprinkles, white sprinkles, marshmallows

Elf: mini chocolate chips, Hershey kisses

Grinch: Green tic tacs, green m&ms, green skittles
