Back-to-school Lunch Planning Easier with a Printable

back-to-school lunch idea printable

I absolutely love having these printable on hand to make school lunch planning easier! First, I print one for each kid and laminate them so they can use a dry-erase marker over and over again. Then, every Saturday, I have the kids look through the options and choose what they would like to eat for lunch that week. This gives me plenty of time to make my grocery list and shop for everything we need.

However, if I don’t feel like making an extra trip to the store, I simply highlight the lunch options we already have available at home and let the kids choose from those instead. Not only does this make lunch planning much easier on me, but it also gives the kids a say in what goes into their lunchboxes. Most importantly, I know they are choosing foods they actually enjoy, which means I’m much more confident that they’ll eat their lunch at school instead of bringing half of it back home!
