Ultimate Go-To Recipe - Smoke Sausage Bake

Picture this: it’s been a long day, the kids are hungry, and you’re looking for a quick and easy solution that will put smiles on everyone’s faces. In the hustle and bustle of family life, we’ve got your back with a go-to family dinner that is not only delicious but a total lifesaver. Get ready for a stress-free, satisfying, and most importantly, scrumptious smoke sausage bake that will become your new busy weeknight favorite.

Smoke Sausage bake has been my go-to family dinner for a couple of years now. It’s one that the family enjoys and asks for. And with a big family that has some picky eaters, that is hard to accomplish. Not only is it a favorite in our household, but it’s also so easy you can prep it early when you have extra time. I love meals that I can prepare early and throw together when I need them. I’m a mom of five and right now I feel like I’m always on the go running around. I know we all feel like that.

The original recipe I found for smoked sausage bake was on Pinterest from the blog Chicago Foodie Sisters (https://chicagofoodiesisters.blogspot.com/2012/02/smoked-sausage-and-potato-bake.html)

I have added to this recipe and made it more personalized for my family. I love that with either recipe you can make it at home or over a campfire while you’re out camping. It’s a recipe that you will want to keep close if you’re a smoked sausage and potato lover.

I have added to mine are zucchini, yellow squash and for my seasoning I just use a Lipton onion soup mix. The soup mix just makes the recipe perfect!  Mom’s of picky eaters I hear you. I have a couple kids that don’t like all the veggies too. This meal is simple that you can just add what they will eat into a new dish. No need to make two separate dinners. As you can see below I have one that is just meat and potatoes.
