Lazy Lasagna: A Deliciously Easy Dinner

Busy season is here in our household and I’m all about easy recipes. This is one of my favorite “lazy recipes” and it’s Lazy Lasagna. What makes it lazy? It’s only 3 simple ingredients and doesn’t take hours to prepare.

Everything you need:

Pasta Sauce– Pick your favorite pasta sauce for this recipe. We love Safeway brand marinara for this.

Frozen ravioli- I love using frozen cheese ravioli. But honestly go with your favorite meat or cheese. You can’t go wrong with either choice.

Mozzarella Cheese- We will be topping our Lasagna with this to make it bubbly and yummy!

Optional: Parmesan Cheese- We will be topping this on top of the mozzarella.

How to make your lazy Lasagna:

Lazy Lasagna
  • Start with a layer of your pasta sauce
  • Lay a single layer of your frozen raviolis.
  • Add more of your pasta sauce on top of your raviolis. 
  • Top with your mozzarella cheese
  • Bake for 30 min with foil and 15 without.

Want to add extra meat to your Lasagna? You can add a layer of ground meat or Italian sausage on top of the sauce.

Lazy Lasagna

The easiest lasagna you'll ever make!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Bag Frozen Ravolis 25 oz bag
  • 1 Jar Your favorite pasta sauce 24 oz jar
  • 2 Cups Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Parmesan cheese for sprinkling Optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 400 °F
  • Grease a 9×13 baking dish
  • Spread about 3/4 cup of your pasta sauce onto the bottom of your baking dish.
  • Place half of the frozen ravioli in a single layer over your sauce.
  • Top with half of the remaining sauce and half of the mozzarella cheese.
  • Repeat the layers again ( ravioli, sauce and cheese) Finish by sprinkling Parmesan cheese if you'd like.
  • Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 30 min.
  • Remove the foil and bake for 15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and starting to brown.
  • Let cool for 5-10 minutes and enjoy!
