Spring is in full swing and summer is around the corner. We’re serving up two fresh meal plans to make your May delicious and stress-free. Whether you’re craving comforting, kid-approved dinners or looking to stay on track with wholesome, feel-good food, we’ve got something for you!

May Must Try Family Dinners:

May Meal Plan

With our family plan this month we made it up with simple dinners but also kid friendly meal ideas that we love. I have one very picky kid and she enjoys most of these dishes. My kids love when we have theme nights and I’m not complaining because it makes planning easier. This month we added a new theme to our meal plan. Our themes are:

  • Monday’s are Breakfast nights. These are simple meals to pair with eggs and fruit to make it a full meal.
  • Tuesday’s are Taco Tuesday inspired meals. These are my favorite nights in my house.
  • Wednesday’s are our leftover nights. If we don’t have any leftovers it becomes a kid’s choice and they pick whatever they want but it has to be what we already have at home.
  • Copycat Thursday’s We are on a budget so no eating out for us. This month we decided to try to make some of our favorites at home.
  • Friday’s are busy nights for our family so we let the crockpot do the cooking while we’re at hockey.
