What you will need:

  • Sensory box bin
  • Coco Puff Cereal
  • Handful of Mini marshmallows
  • (4)Mini candy canes or break up a candy cane
  • Scoop
  • Little cups

Let’s put it together!

It’s going to be super simple and only take a few minutes to make! First let’s do a layer of the chocolate cereal. Second, add your handful of marshmallows on top. Finally, throw in your candy canes. That’s it! Super Simple. For our cup I asked my Starbucks friends for some sample cups and they worked out perfectly for this! But honestly any small cup will work.

Hot Chocolate math fun!

I decided we needed a little math fun added into our play time! These recipe printables are a fun way to do that. Each card has an amount of scoops to add to the cup, how many candy canes to add and how many marshmallows to add to your cup. With the small cups I didn’t go past 5 so its a awesome for little ones to practice their numbers!

First time making a box?

Here are some of my favorite tools to have! These tools are ones that we love to use with our box a lot! I really love the tool set because it helps build that finger strength young ones will need later on at school. Check out our favorites below! #AD
