  • Bacon (cut into thirds)
  • Brown sugar (for that sweet glaze)

That’s it! Simple ingredients, big flavor.

How to Make Bacon Wrapped Lil Smokies

Game Day snack

Start by wrapping each Lil Smokie with a piece of bacon and securing it with a toothpick. Roll them in brown sugar, then bake until the bacon is crispy and the sugar is bubbly and caramelized. The hardest part is waiting for them to cool before digging in!

Tips for Perfectly Game Day Crispy Bacon

  • Use regular-cut bacon (thick-cut takes longer to crisp)
  • Line your baking dish with foil for easy cleanup
  • Space the Smokies out so the bacon cooks evenly

Sweet & Savory Variations to Try

Want to switch things up? Try adding:

  • A sprinkle of chili powder for heat.
  • A sprinkle of your favorite bbq seasoning for a smoke flavor.
  • BBQ twist after baking, cover in your favorite BBQ sauce and boil on high for 3-4 minutes.

How to Serve Them for Game Day

Serve straight from the oven on a platter with toothpicks, or keep them warm in a slow cooker for longer parties. Either way, expect them to vanish fast so maybe make a double batch!
