Creamy parmesan italian sausage is this week’s Friday soup! And you don’t want to miss this cozy recipe.
As the weather cools and the days grow shorter, there’s nothing like a warm, hearty bowl of soup to bring comfort to your table. This week for Soup Friday, we’re diving into a creamy parmesan Italian sausage soup that’s perfect for those chilly fall evenings. With rich flavors from savory sausage, tender vegetables, and a touch of cream, this cozy dish will keep you warm as the temperatures drop. Whether you’re enjoying it with family or curled up with a book, this soup is sure to become a fall favorite!
This is a recipe that I have been seeing all over my tik tok feed and Pinterest so I had to give it a try after seeing all the good reviews. Not only was this soup so tasty but it’s so quick and easy to make. In my book that makes a recipe a keeper. My family quickly told me to keep this one as well. When your picky kids eat it with no problem and tell you to keep it you know it’s good.
Italian sausage- Ground or links will work for this recipe. If you use links you will just remove the castings.
Chicken broth- This can be a box or your own.
Veggies- onion, garlic, and diced tomatoes.
Pasta- We used ditalini but any small pasta will work. I want to use orzo next time.
Cheese- grated parmesan and cream cheese
Heavy whipping cream -You can replace this with milk if you would like
Seasoning– salt/pepper and italian seasoning Optional: ground fennel, red pepper flakes, and parsley
If you like broth in your soup I would cook your noodles separately. When you’re ready to eat, put noodles in your bowl and pour your broth over. The noodles suck up the broth super fast and it becomes more of a pasta dish not a soup.

If you want more recipes check out this creamy chicken tortellini soup that my mom shared last week. This is one you definitely want to make on a chilly night! Don’t forget to come back next Friday for another soup Friday recipe.
Let us know if you love a thicker base soup or a broth type soup? We would love to know because my household is more on the thicker side and I’m the lonely one who loves more broth.
