Meal Plans to make everyone excited over dinner time!

We are excited to have two great meal plan ideas for you this month. We have a low carb plan put together by Vickie and a family dinner meal plan put together by Kristy. This month we have also made each calendar have the links to the recipes. All you have to do is download the file to your phone or computer. When you open up the file you can click on the day and it will take you to the recipe needed for that night.

Lets start with the low carb meal plan.

When a recipe calls for ingredients that are not all that low carb, try substituting those items for healthy low carb options. A few that I have tried are:

Flour Tortillas → Low Carb Flour Tortillas

I like this brand of Low Carb Flour Tortillas

Bread crumbs → Crushed Pork Rinds

White Flour → Almond Flour, Coconut Flour, Crushed Pork Rinds, or Grated Parmesan Cheese.

Incorporating these substitutes not only helps lower the number of carbs but also elevates the nutritional value of your meals.

Family dinner ideas

These are all kid friendly family dinners. You will notice I kept the same theme as last month. This is something I do each month. Makes it easy for me to plan.

  • Mondays- breakfast
  • Tuesday- Taco Tuesday inspired
  • Wednesday- Leftover nights
  • Friday- crockpot meals

Healthier and homemade twist on hamburger helper. This was so delicious and easy to make.

The kids loved this one because they got to make the bowl how the wanted. Lay everything out and let everyone make their own bowls.
