- 3 overripe bananas mashed
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ cup butter melted
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp cinnamon

- ½ cup chopped nuts or chocolate chip
Preheat oven to 350 °F
Grease a loaf pan
In a bowl, whisk together flour (2 cups), baking soda (1 tsp.), salt (1/2 tsp.) and cinnamon ( 1 tsp.)
In another bowl, mix mashed bananas (3), melted butter (1/2 cup), and brown sugar (3/4 cup) until smooth.
Beat in eggs (2) and vanilla extract (1 tsp.).
Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
Fold in chopped nuts (1/2 cup) or chocolate chips (1/2 cup) (optional)
Pour batter into the loaf pan and bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
