Ingredients
  

  • 3 overripe bananas mashed
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ cup butter melted
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Optional

  • ½ cup chopped nuts or chocolate chip

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 °F
  • Grease a loaf pan
  • In a bowl, whisk together flour (2 cups), baking soda (1 tsp.), salt (1/2 tsp.) and cinnamon ( 1 tsp.)
  • In another bowl, mix mashed bananas (3), melted butter (1/2 cup), and brown sugar (3/4 cup) until smooth.
  • Beat in eggs (2) and vanilla extract (1 tsp.).
  • Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  • Fold in chopped nuts (1/2 cup) or chocolate chips (1/2 cup) (optional)
  • Pour batter into the loaf pan and bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  • Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
